In
April, Foundin IP was invited by China International Cooperation Association
for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (CICASME) to host a series of events for
National Intellectual Property Week. The focus was on explaining
the layout, the risk prevention and control, and the dispute settlement of
overseas IP rights of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from the
practical operation level.
Specifically, SMEs often
encounter the following questions concerning overseas market: Is it necessary
to apply for patents or trademarks overseas? Which countries should be selected
for patent application? What intellectual property risks might they encounter
when entering markets in these countries? And how to deal with IP disputes
overseas, etc.
To
this end, senior patent attorneys Mr. Hui Wang and Ms. Huan Cao, and lawyer Ms.
Fei Ma from Foundin IP provided detailed explanations focused on these
frequently encountered IP problems and the corresponding solutions. More
information about the event can be found via the following link: http://xiehui.chinasme.org.cn/site/content/8747.html
