On April 29th, 2021, a seminar named "the
Hague System for the International Registration of Industrial Designs"
organized by the China Office of the World Intellectual Property Organization
(WIPO) was held at No. 2 East Pocket Hutong, Xicheng District, Beijing, China.
The seminar involved the Hague Agreement Concerning
the International Registration of Industrial Designs (The Hague Agreement)
administered by the WIPO, focusing on the Hague System for international
registration of industrial designs in accordance with the Hague Agreement, such
as the characteristics and advantages of the Hague system so as to help Chinese
enterprises make full use of international resources to conduct well in the
overseas layout of industrial design protection after joining the Hague
Agreement this year.
Mr. Hui Wang, manager of European and American
Marketing Department of Foundin IP and senior consultant Ms. Ming Liu attended
the seminar and participated in the discussion on the possible problems
existing in the use of the Hague system by design applicants as well as how to
make full use of the Hague system to protect their design overseas.
