On
April 23, 2021, WIPO, China International Cooperation Association of Small and
Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and Qingdao Municipal People's Government
jointly organized the "WIPO Global Services Promotes SMEs Brand Building
and Development" in Qingdao, Shandong province, China.
More than 200 domestic and international guests attended the meeting online and offline. The participants fully focused on such topics as "Intellectual Property Promotes the Development of SMEs", "Global Development of SMEs' Brands", “Madrid International Registration System Helps Brand Internationalization", and jointly discussed how to use the World Intellectual Property
Organization's global service system to promote the brand
construction of SMEs, strengthening international intellectual property
services to help SMEs' innovation and creative development. Based on
intellectual property rights, a consensus has been reached on strengthening the
intellectual property protection as well as brand cultivation of SMEs and promoting
the brand construction as well as international and high-quality development of
SMEs.
Experts from Foundin IP were invited to attend the meeting. Through communication during the meeting, both Foundin IP and the enterprises attendees had a deeper understanding of the brand globalization development of SMEs.
